First established in 2013, SINCERIS is a small Wiltshire based family company producing a range of home fragrances and natural face, hair and body care products. We aim for a consistently high standard with all we do and everything you see on this site has been made by hand in our small workshop.
SINCERIS is a Latin word meaning ‘pure’ and the choice of name reflects our commitment to making pure, natural soaps and perfumes that are free from any of the artificial ingredients and additives commonly used in many leading products. We work with integrity to ensure that our customers have the best quality items, expertly made from the finest materials, thoughtfully packaged and presented.
The SINCERIS journey began in 2013 when my recently retired father, Alf, went on a soap making course and was captivated by the saponification process -the chemical reaction that turns the ingredients into soap! SINCERIS’s small beginnings soon grew as my father became a regular at all the county shows and craft fayres; expanding his product range to meet the demands of his growing base of loyal customers.
Since early in 2020, when I began to work more closely with my father, I have found myself increasingly and enthusiastically involved in all aspects of soap and candle making. Like him, I am totally committed to using only natural, sustainable ingredients and packaging. Lately I have re-launched the website to make it easier to use as well as updating and expanding our already well-established range. I am so looking forward to creating and developing new products that I hope will appeal to loyal and new customers alike.
And just in case you have seen similar SINCERIS products on another website....Earlier this year SINCERIS became international as my brother and sister-in-law launched www.sinceris.nl in the Netherlands, where they live.
Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any queries or questions.

Care for the environment
All our products are paraben free and toxin free.
The packaging for our diffusers and deluxe candles is 100% FSC certified and 100% recyclable, as are our glass jars. We are very conscious of our carbon footprint, as well as supporting the local economy where possible. Our diffuser bottles come from a wholesaler in Bristol; our cardboard packaging is ethically manufactured in Yorkshire; our tins come from a wholesaler in Trowbridge. Our soy wax is manufactured in the UK.
Our diffuser refills are currently supplied in plastic bottles but we will hopefully replace these with a suitable alternative once we have used up all of our current stock.Otherwise, we will set up a return and reuse scheme.
We keep the use of plastic to an absolute minimum and reuse or recycle everything possible to reduce waste. We do not purchase any plastic packaging materials but we do reuse packaging materials, such as bubble wrap, that arrive with the raw materials. We do buy loose chips that are manufactured from starch material and are fully compostable and 100% biodegradable.
